This classroom has a project, PC, DocCam, microphone, and camera, as well as the option to plug in your own laptop using an HDMI cable. The video Guide can be found here.
- Using the AMX panel on the desk, press start presentation and select Computer as the input.
- Log into the PC.
- If wanting to use your own laptop, plug in the HDMI cable and use the AMX panel to select Laptop HDMI.
- If you want to use the DocCam, turn it on and select WolfVision on the panel.
- To use the mic, turn the mic pack on and use the microphone.
- The classroom will be able to hear from the speakers, but Zoom will only be able to hear if you are using the PC.
- Go to tech.asu.edu/zoom on the PC and launch Zoom, then host a meeting and sign in.
- Join with Computer Audio.
- If having any issues with the audio, go to the mute button and click the up arrow ( ^ ) and switch between the speaker and microphone options.
- Turn on the camera if you want the Zoom audience to see you.
- If you are using your laptop, you won’t be able to use the classroom camera - only the one on your laptop.
- Click “Share Screen” to share your screen with Zoom.
- If sharing audio/videos, go to the More option at the top and click share sound to avoid audio lag for the Zoom audience.
