LSC 560 Setup Guide

This classroom has a projector and built-in PC available to use. Use the following steps to run a Zoom meeting. The video guide can be found here.

  1. Using the AMX panel on the back wall, click the “On” button. This should turn on the projector and the PC.
    1. If the PC does not turn on, open the left cabinet in the front of the room and push the power button on the Dell hardware.
    2. The wireless keyboard and mouse will also be in the cabinet for use of the PC, and there are cameras available in the cabinets as well.
  2. Make sure the wireless keyboard and mouse are turned on. If using a camera, plug it into the USB ports in the back desk pointed toward the screen.
  3. Proceed to log into the PC.
  4. Turn on the mic on the table.
  5. Launch a Zoom meeting and join with computer audio.
  6. Check audio by clicking the up arrow ( ^ ) on the microphone option in the bottom left of the Zoom meeting, and switch between speak options if there are issues.
  7. Your screen can be shared with the “Share Screen” button in the Zoom window.
    1. If there is an audio lag for Zoom participants, click the “More” button, and select “Share Sound.”
